On June 17, 1968, the appellant waived trial by jury and entered a plea of guilty before the court to an indictment charging him with the possession of marihuana. The punishment was assessed at five years, but the imposition of the sentence was suspended and the appellant was placed on probation. Among the conditions of probation was the requirement that he "commit no offense against the laws of this or any other state or the United States."
